Frankly I was massively disappointed they only bothered rehearsing one different song over the last two years. Two European tours for the same album and almost identical setlists is weak. And all the same songs from The Black Halo that they played on the tour for that album.

No Elizabeth = fail.
I wouldn't mind seeing a setlist like this, but I've never seen Kamelot. It does seem like they like to stick to the same setlist, though, and I can see where that would piss people off. Especially when they neglect Elizabeth. |

Well the thing that makes it annoying is that they tour so fucking much with a set list so similar. Who wants to see a band 3 times in support of the same album if the set list is going to be exactly the same?
The amusing that is that the frequency of their tours is probably exactly why they don't change their set list much. More time on the road is less time to rehearse new songs to play live. |

At the very least, it'd be nice if they could trade out WtLaD, Soul Society, CotU, and/or The Haunting for something else once in a while. I've seen Kamelot three times; I've seen those songs three times; and with OCWN it makes them four. Toooo many.

I don't know about you guys, but those songs you mentioned are the reason for me to go to the show.

Yeah, I only saw them for the first time like 10 days ago, if I'd been a vet maybe I'd think differently, but I missed them last time round due to being sick. But those songs are my favourite songs, and I couldn't do without them in a Kamelot set. I don't like the old stuff as much as the Black Halo, so I am glad the set is heavy on that material (I've known about them for a while, just didn't get round to seeing them before.)

I couldn't make this but saw Amberian Dawn the previous night. The Kamelot gig was on 29th not 28th if someone wants to change the title
