Yeah, this is definitely awesome. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album.

At any rate, it's definitely possible to tell Dio's voice has aged. The best comparison is to the listen to the last album this collection of individuals put out: Dehumanizer.

Dio's voice is by no stretch bad, but it's aged noticeably, as one would expect with the lapse in time. And considering it's been, what, almost 30 years since Heaven & Hell was released? Dio's gonna sound older, even if he doesn't sound 66 (and for the record, what does a 66 year old sound like?)

My only wish for this album is that I hope it has some strong songwriting, and some variety. I know the performances will be strong, but if it's more of the usual: mid-tempo to slow chunky songs, well... that's not exactly the most exciting prospect in the world. Not that it won't have something to enjoy on it, but I hope there's some good rockers as well. And I hope the album has more substance than the three songs included on The Dio Years...
Yeah man, this

They're old as fuck, its cool they're still making this shit. You just gotta realize though that its not quite the same dudes who made Heaven & Hell and Mob Rules.

That's a good thing, if I hear them put out another song like "Walk Away" I just might have to go Nathan Gale on those rat bastards.

I'm glad you included that, otherwise you wouldn't hear the end of it from everyone under the age of 17 on this site.

People under 17 like "Walk Away?" That's even worse than liking Slipknot!
