The world survived the phils winning the world series ago, i think it could survive dallas with a title. Seriously though, Cliff Lee is still talked about in hushed tones up here - dude is a yankee killer and a total badass. He's good for two wins in a playoff series, hope you have the horses for the rest.

But at least the Phillies have won the WS in the last 30 years.

CJ Wilson is 14-6, Tommy Hunter is 12-3, Colby Lewis is 11-12. I think we have the horses to take on the Yanks, Rays and Twins.

Dammit. I'm trying to figure out what NL time I will adopt for the season that's not the Reds. Being a Cardinals fan I can not be happy for them regardless. I'm thinking either SD or Atlanta if they can get in. However I am enjoying Texas as my AL team.

I've been saying that since his first inning with the club. Won't happen, though. Dusty Baker has a huge boner for traditionalism and standing behind your closer, which just allows Cordero to suck balls and know he can keep his job.

Chapman reminds me a lot of Joel Zumaya....I wouldn't take my chances with him either to be honest, unless Cordero blows every save opportunity until the postseason.
