Project/Object -- Milwaukee, WI -- January 3rd, 2010

Me and two friends road tripped down to Wi to see the amazing Ike Willis and Ray White perform together for the first time in 25 YEARS! It was an amazing night, I got my vinyl copy of Joe's Garage Acts. 2 & 3 (Original Press) signed by Ike who plays Joe on the album. It's on my wall in a frame as we speak. haha

Only problem was Ray White was having problems with his throat so he wasn't able to do leads which made us unable to hear such gems as 'The Illinois Enema Bandit', 'Doreen', and many other classic tracks. All in all though it was still an amazing show that blew any Zappa Plays Zappa performance out of the water. When I talked to him he said that he plans on touring with them again so there's always next time. I just hope the come to Mn next time so I can see them more than once. We would have seen them 3 times but the 2 dates in Illinois were 21+.

I'm a big Zappa guy as well. Haven't seen P/O yet, but I do want to if they ever come to the Twin Cities.

Ya closest they have ever came is Wi, they almost did a New Years Eve show here but it fell through. I keep telling them to come to Mn when I see them and they say it will happen. haha

It's funny because I live in Wisconsin, but I'm only an hour from the Twin Cities. It's abput 7-8 to anywhere good in Wisconsin to see a band.

I hope they will stop in MN at some point, I have yet to see Ray White live.

Ray White is still Ray White. It still had to be an incredible experience.

Oh ya dude, I got to meet him and Ike after the show. Got a couple LPs signed, took some pictures, the whole nine yards. They were really nice guys. He still sang, but I was really hoping to hear The Illinois Enema Bandit, but he just couldn't do it that night. It was one of the main songs I wanted to see so it was kinda disappointing. : /

I videotaped the whole show. I was having problems with the audio, such as crackle on the louder parts, but I just got my hands on an audio file from the show. If that one is of better quality I'm gonna undergo my first Video Editing Project/Object (haha... puns..) and sync it all together. If you want I can post on this thread when its done since I'll be uploading it to Zappateers, you would be able to download it for free.
