Here's my take so far.

Debut album by Nightvision out in April is OUTSTANDING

Stuff already out that's great:

Kreator
Isole
Grave Digger
The New Black
Wizard
Mind Odyssey

Stuff already out that isn't so great:

Hammerfall
Wolf
Deathstars
Sepultura
Nashville Pussy

Stuff out I need to hear:

The Answer
Lamb of God
Wino
Joe Bonamassa
Gothminister

Stuff out soon that's great:

Candlemass
Lions Share
Nasty Idols

More stuff coming I'm looking forward to:

My Dying Bride
Astral Doors
UFO
Queensryche
Megadeth
Krux
Heaven & Hell
ZZ Top
KISS (that's right)
The Black Crowes
Days of The New

That Mind Odyssey CD intrigues me. I guess I should check it out. What are your thoughts on the latest Saxon album?

What are they like? Their metal-archives page makes them look pretty generic.

P.S. Nerd alert, their name is Latin for "I Glory in War", I think.

They're pretty much like raw black metal. Think Antaeus, but not as brutal. They're from France, and they're black metal, so you know it's quality.

Speaking of French BM (sort of), the new Amesoeurs leaked! I'm probably not gonna have time to listen to it until tomorrow, but I'm excited

God, that's all they talk about on a certain anonymous image board and I don't get it at all.

Ah, really? I haven't been ... there in a looong time. I'm kinda not surprised they like Amesoeurs though.

Have you ever heard the Ruines Humaines EP?
