" The two-time Grammy Award winner has decided that he will not be touring until he has a new album in-stores (currently projected to be Thanksgiving 2009). Thus, OZZY has decided to put his namesake festival OZZFEST on hold this year."

I think it's sad how the next sentence after them canceling it is about their fucking variety show on Fox.

Personally, I had a good run with Ozzfest. I didn't miss it at all last summer, mostly of the earlier Iron Maiden shows in California. That was "Ozzfest 2008" for me. This year? Right now, I don't really give care that much.

RIP, Ozzfest. Whatever. Thus speakth one of the last fans of Ozzfest on metalsetilsts.

Ozzy is actually in the studio recording his next album. I'd rather that than Ozzfest.

Either way, I think it's about time that Ozzy lets the tour go like he said he was 3 years ago.
System of a Down closing was fucking great. I'd rather have Ozzfest with a good headliner and no Oz than no Ozzfest at all.
