Smashing Pumpkins -- Los Angeles, CA -- December 3rd, 2008

I copied the setlist and the comments off Netphoria, a Pumpkins board. I was there (free ticket) but I only knew about 5 songs. It was at the Gibson Amphitheatre. They did 2 nights, 2 1/2 hour shows and no repeated songs though a lot of them sounded the same.

From a "markpregen":

"some dude who looks like an aging jonas brother playing a tiger striped guitar is jamming with jeff on gossamer... dude was using music sheets so probably not famous (or does this happen every white crosses show?)

np gossamer"

smashing pumkins

well i think the show went great..the man in the suit definitely does not look like one of the Jonas brothers and maybe your seats werent that good because if you had good seats you would have noticed George was not looking at a set list but instead his pedal board..lynch rocked those 2 songs and the pumpkins put on an awesome show

I actually stole that line from a Pumpkins board. My seat (comp) was 2nd to last row balcony. As a matter of fact the first time Billy said "George Lynch!" I only saw a shadow fading from the stage and I thought "Was that a joke?" I really dug the show even though I only have the 2 big hit CDs that I haven't listened to in over a decade.
