It didn't help the fact that they, a nu-metal/metalcore (to me) band, were opening for Napalm Death. Maybe that factored into it.

Same reason I really didn't like Unearth: they were opening for Slayer!
so, if 36CF were opening for say ...Trivium? would that make it better? or worse? how about In Flames?

I dunno, it's just that I really don't like metalcore and the fact that I had to sit through them (or Unearth) to get to a band that I really liked, I'm going to be biased.

I'm sure that if they were opening for another metalcore band that they would've sounded better to me. Same with Unearth. I probably would have liked them a lot more had they been opening for, say, The Black Dahlia Murder and not Slayer.

Yeah. I was waiting at a smaller stage for another band (another I'm ashamed to admit to have seen) and they were on one of the main stages so I saw them. Terrible, terrible shit.
