This was an offnight headliner from the Dragonforce tour, so I made the three hour ride down to Jaxx. Several locals opened, then Powerglove (who were much better than I expected), and Turisas. Setlist, in order, was

wow man .. amazing .. we got only 6 songs in the LA show as they were not headlining

I was at that show. It wouldn't have hurt for them to put in a couple more songs. haha, that show kicked ass.

Netta said they would be back in Spring 2009 to headline the US.

I can't wait

I don't get why they don't play Cursed Be Iron though. Everyone loves it but they don't ever play it for some reason.

But just hearing Miklagaard Overture live would be worth it.

I checked their tour dates on their myspace page .. they are booked till the end of february. I hope they come after that to the US.

I was talking to a few of them after the show, they said they are trying to come back in the spring, but they weren't sure if they would be headlining or not. And this picture didn't come out as well as i had hoped, but you get the idea

Awesome set but I'm surprised and a little upset they didn't play As Torches Rise even in a headlining set.
