I remember they used to basically do nothing from St. Anger and at worst maybe one Load/ReLoad song plus the obligatory Black Album staples, the rest was all good shit. I don't think it would be outlandish to hope for them to just do whatever 5-6 Death Magnetic songs they choose (though the omission of "All Nightmare Long" is glaring), obviously "Enter Sandman/Nothing Else Matters", and then save the rest of the set for the ripper tunes.

A couple people I know went, I'll be interested to hear how it actually was by the look of the setlist.

I'm seeing them 4 times in January so I hope they continue to change up the setlist from night to night.

Until It Sleeps is tolerable for me, since I've never seen it live before.

I'm surprised Fuel is not in the setlist. Not that I'm complaining, but it's been a staple ever since the Re-Load tour.

I really want to see All Nightmare Long and Suicide & Redemption from the new album.

I'd also like to see Orion and And Justice For All. They've played those two songs in Europe the past couple years, but not much (or at all?) in the US.

i saw And Justice at ozzfest

but yeah, about the setlists, it is lacking a bit but i don't really care. i saw the metallica set of the decade so i'm still happy. if they change it up each night, i'll leave happy after both shows at the forum. and i don't really care for frantic. it's getting a lot of heat on this board but to be honest, i kinda want to see it live

yea me too! as long as i get to see a lot of different Metallica songs from the last time i saw them, i'll be happy i don't care which album its from

I'm gonna go see the Metallica cover band instead, because the singer still has a legitimate voice and frankly I don't feel like paying upwards of 100 bucks to hear less than 10 of the songs I want to hear.

hey man are u in the L.A. area cause there is good metallica tribute band playing at the santa fe swap meet for a dollar in 2 weeks!
