Machine Head -- Nagoya, Japan -- October 8th, 2008

1. Clenching the Fists of Dissent
2. Imperium
3. Beautiful Mourning
4. Aestheics of Hate
5. Old
6. Halo
7. Davidian

Machine Head opened for Slipknot. They played for about 45 minutes. The crowed was generally receptive although they seemed to not know the songs. Great show, though. I think it's the live debut of Beautiful Mourning. Halo was awesome too. I hope they can do their own headlining tour in 2009.

From the setlists over the past year or two, you can tell machine head feels that their only material worth playing is either really old or really new. Not that I disagree with them.

Nice. Even better than the hour set they got on the Black Tyranny tour

Other than Beautiful Mourning it's become the same old same old with MH.

I know a lot of people hate stuff off the Burning Red and Supercharger, but whip out "From This day" sometime soon, just for fun! Or even some other songs off the Blackening that aren't played live like Now I lay thee Down or Slanderous.

Here Here. The Blood, The Sweat, The Tears, Bulldozer, Struck A Nerve, a little change up would be nice, but aside from lack of variation it's still a solid set.
