Maiden Heaven

Anyone check out the Maiden Heaven CD from Kerrang?

http://www2.kerrang.com/2008/06/maid...isting_re.html

I know this is old news, but...

01, Black Tide - Prowler
02, Metallica - Remember Tomorrow
03, Avenged Sevenfold - Flash Of The Blade
04, Glamour Of The Kill - 2 Minutes To Midnight
05, Coheed And Cambria - The Trooper
06, Devildriver - Wasted Years
07, Sign - Run To The Hills
08, Dream Theater - To Tame A Land
09, Madina Lake - Caught Somewhere In Time
10, Gallows - Wrathchild
11, Fightstar - Fear Of The Dark
12, Machine Head - Hallowed Be Thy Name
13, Trivium - Iron Maiden
14, Year Long Disaster - Running Free
15, Ghostlines - Brave New World

I have to say, I'm enjoying the album a lot. I really dig the "Run To The Hills" and "Caught Somewhere In Time" covers a lot, but they're all actually pretty good, or at least interesting.

I remember hearing these clips when they were put up ... garbage.

The only one I want to hear is Black Tide's Prowler.

Edit: And YouTube once again solves my problems. It's alright.

"Prowler" is good. Some of it sucks. But I like a lot of the album actually.

Trying to cash in is nonsense. The bands were all invited to contribute by Kerrang!, it's entirely Kerrang!'s deal. Plus, really don't think Metallica and Dream Theater need to ride Maiden's coat-tales anywhere.

They both suck. The Devildriver and Ghostlines ones are by far the best.
