Nightwish -- Worcester, MA -- August 30th, 2008

Alright. Absolutely amazing show. I honestly think Nightwish has taken my #1 performance slot away from Pagan's Mind, or atleast tied.

Sonata Arctica
01. In Black And White
02. Paid in Full
03. White Pearl, Black Oceans
04. It Won't Fade
05. Draw Me
06. Don't Say A Word
07. The Cage/Vodka

Nightwish
01. Bye Bye Beautiful
02. Dark Chest of Wonders
03. The Siren
04. Whoever Brings The Night
05. Amaranth
06. Dead To The World
07. The Islander
08. The Poet and the Pendulum
09. Come Cover Me
10. Sahara
11. Ever Dream
-----------------------------
12. 7 Days to the Wolves
13. Wish I Had An Angel

I might be missing something after The Poet and the Pendulum and before Ever Dream, but if I did it's not a song that was played in Philadelphia.

Absolutely amazing. I couldn't believe it when they played Come Cover Me, and then when Annette started the intro to Ever Dream I almost blew my vocal chords out.

Plus, The Siren is my favorite Nightwish song.

Ah, excellent to see Everdream back in there, but I don't think they should've taken out Wishmaster. Looks like they might be switching it up every night, which is pretty awesome.

Yeah, seems that way.

Really, to ANYONE who has a chance to see this tour - GO! Besides the fact that both bands are amazing live, it's your last chance to see Nightwish until the next album (The tour shirt I bought says "North American Passion, Pt. 3: The Final Chapter"). And they're just that good live that you won't want to wait that long.

Sonata Arctica's set is pretty disappointing, IMO. "White Pearl, Black Oceans" is a welcome addition but the absence of My Land, Fullmoon, Victoria's Secret, Weballergy, etc. is unforgivable... I guess this is Sonata trying to get away from the 'power metal' label.

Maybe but they don't exactly have much time this go around.
