Decided to pick up Kick-Ass, got lost in Walmart's DVD section while doing so and managed to pick up Gran Torino, Once Upon a Time in the West, and The Outlaw Josey Wales while I was at it. Hey, I'm not complaining.

Almost forgot: I picked up Date Night a couple weeks ago. Great stuff. Hell, the outtakes alone are almost worth the price of admission. Not surprisingly, Tina Fey can come up with killer material on the fly. "I'm gonna go home and look at my vagina with a handmirror."

Hey, two of my seven favorite movies of all time in one stop!
![]() And I've bought a bunch of DVDs lately, most recently 3:10 to Yuma and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

But really, it's just because I don't have three more movies that I feel as strongly about as those seven, and I doubt if I ever see anything that I like enough to knock even one of them into 8th place. And yep, the new one is the one I got, it's great. Haven't seen the old one yet but American Westerns from the '50s generally don't do much for me. And I saw Following. It's probably the worst Nolan, but even that's a pretty good film.

I agree with Brad - these are both awesome. I also liked the remake of 3:10 to Yuma. It's amazing how likeable both Crowe and Bale can be onscreen, given both of their notable offscreen outbursts of temper from time to time.
I guess we all have our momemnts, though. ![]() I bought the new Clutch DVD (Live at the 9:30 Club) and Primus DVD (2004 Hallocinogenics Tour) recenetly. They are both fucking sweet.
