Gotham

Has anyone else here gotten hooked on this new series??? I wasn't too sure what to expect from it at first, thus making me really let down on the first episode. But after digesting it a bit more I attempted it again and was hooked! It's basically a crime show that focuses on GCPD and a young Commisioner Gordon. They've had some cameos from what would be Batman's future villians, and its just been a fun watch!

I think one of the stand out characters of the whole series is The Penguin. The end of the second episode showed how unstable that dude is and I cannot wait to see how his character changes and grows throughout the series!

I've been surprised by how good it is too. Honestly, I kind of expected it to blow.

I agree that Penguin has been done really well. I loved the progression he had in last night's episode. I also love how well they're showing how corrupt the city is.

By and large, I don't care much about TV, but this show is entertaining enough to keep watching it. Yesterday's episode was the best (of the so-far three) by a good margin.

First ep: ok --> some bad dialogue, unncessary cuts, only time when I didn't really like Jada Pinkett Smith. But the others are just so cool.

That cat --> Michelle Pfeiffer has cloned herself!!!
That fish!
That Cobblepot!

The city itself looks like a perfect mashup of Nolan & Burton imo.

I need to watch last nights episode still, but I agree on everything MIA has said! Catwoman looks like she could easily be a young Pfeiffer, it's scary! The police station looks like its been taken straight out of the Arkham games.
