Honestly, what the fuck. Someone needs to tell Motorhead to drop like 2 songs so Sabbath can play Neon Knights, and possibly Ear in the Wall, which seems to have also dissapeared. Or, for god's sake, have Vinnie Appice drop that rediculosuly boring drum solo.

You've gotta realize that on Motorhead's songs are mostly under 4 minutes while H&H average closer to 6

At least only 1 new Priest song

Me and my friends also missed Testament, more so because we lollygagged a bit before finally heading out, plus some traffic from Brooklyn into Long Island proper helped a bit with that. and some party favors %-)

but we made it with time to spare for the rest of the show.

Motorhead: first time for me. very tight. good energy.

H&H: third time for me. and i think Dio is destined to end up as a Vegas show. his intro for Children of the Sea made me think of a vegas lounge lizard and Time Machine had that sort of Vegas show sound. And he mumbles when he's talking way too much and i can never understand him. Curse you, Ronnie James Dio.

I think the drum solo was inbetween FotEotW and Time Machine. And HEaven and Hell was very drawn out. i'd even venture to say very drawn out drawn out to hopefully capture the true essence of the drawn out-ness.

Priest were excellent ('natch). Eat Me Alive and Dissident (Fucking) Aggressor were the highlights. If you were there, I called out Sinner right before or right after Dissident Aggressor. I almost had my friends fleeing to the car before You've Got Another Thing Coming, but we stayed for it. b/c it's the Priest.

okay, my first really post....
i am happy to see the metal masters tour coming to the mohegan sun casino in connecticut this friday, 08-15-08. however, there will be no motorhead. i don't know why, because i'd rather see them over testiclement, anyday... motorhead is also skipping out on the las vegas show in september. this would probably lead to more drawn-out-ness of heaven and hell's heaven and hell.
(kinda like helloween performing halloween off the helloween album. yeah, let's not get too creative boyz!!!!) but i digress...
let me bitch some more...
i am also going to motley crue and buckcherry at the some place on 08-24-08. but the rest of cruefest is not coming....
anyone know why??
i would also have to say that mohegan sun is an awesome place to see a show. last year we saw machinehead, megadeth, heaven and hell, and met everyone from megadeth and heaven and hell. plus more bars than you can drink at.....

Is that true? If it is I might go to this show, hopefully Motley Crue will play more than 12 songs.

yep. my thoughts exactly. i know i am hoping all of the bands that do show for these two concerts will play longer to take up the dead air. i am not sure if it is a mohegan sun restriction or what.....
