Judas Priest -- Seattle, WA -- July 22th, 2008

Hi All,

First time poster, long time lurker. Priest started their U.S. tour in Seattle tonight...

Two Words: Fucking Epic!
Three Words: Kept European Setlist!
Four Words: Better than Iron Maiden!

I know, I know - that last comment will probably generate some controversy. But hey, I've seen both bands plenty of times going back 20+ years and this gig was the best Priest gig I think I have ever seen (and that's a bold statement). Here's the particulars:

01. Dawn of Creation
02. Prophecy
03. Metal Gods
04. EAT ME ALIVE
05. Between the Hammer & the Anvil
06. Devil's Child
07. Breaking the Law
08. Hell Patrol
09. Death
10. DISSIDENT FUCKING AGGRESSOR
11. Angel
12. The Hellion/Electric Eye
13. Rock Hard, Ride Free
14. SINNER
15. Painkiller
----------------
16. Hell Bent for Leather
17. THE GREEN MANALISHI
18. You've Got Another Thing Coming

A dream setlist to be sure. I'll be interested to see if Priest keeps this whole set on the "Metal Masters" tour. This is a must see show - don't let it pass you by...

Well, I'll be honest, I didn't think they'd keep the European setlist. At best I thought you'd get a trimmed down version. Sweet!

The Iron Maiden comment will probably bring stuff in the morning.

Anyway: I'm super psyched knowing that this is the setlist I'm getting.

I wonder if they are going to alter the setlist for their upcoming Australian tour seeing as they've never played here with Rob before.
Won't matter if they don't, that set is excellent

Not better than Iron Maiden, but certainly good.
