My favorites of this year so far are the new Opeth and Boris albums.

Though, I haven't heard a lot of what's been posted, so I'll probably want to check those out too.

Oh, and the Coffins album is fucking awesome too.

Royal Hunt, Pyramaze, Firewind, Avantasia, and Jorn would be my current top 5. I badly need to listen to a few albums yet, but as a whole this year isn't really impressing me much, I LOVE my top 2 albums, and I haven't heard anything yet this year that I felt sucked, but generally not really a ton of stuff has been grabbing me.

Here's my top ten as it stands now.

01. Kalmah - For The Revolution ( Can't believe no one's mentioned this! )
02. Death Angel - Killing Season
03. Firewind - The Premonition
04. Avantasia - The Scarecrow
05. Norther - N
06. Eluveitie - Slania
07. Judas Priest - Nostradamus

Although I'm sure the new Amon Amarth and Battlelore will shake this up.

Im sure there's gotta be something out there, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll try to use August to find the good stuff.
