If I had a PS3 I would. I heard this game has (multiple) cutscenes that are almost 90 minutes long. Holy shit.

I heard this too.... can't even imagine those.... it was only recently that I started playing Halo 3 on Xbox... I thought that story was one of the most impressive I'd seen.... I'm really intrigued about MSG4 now... 90 minutes? That's a freakin' movie!

The Halo story was pretty much a rip off of Starship Troopers mixed with Ringworld, it was still fun but I'm not sure I'd call it "most impressive".


But I've seen some footage of MGS4 (check it out => http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehZi6qC5GGg ) and I'm really impressed with the graphics, I think they outdid themselves. I just hope Snake doesn't fall and break his hip or anything.

That level of story was new for me in a shooter. Resistance for PS3 has a great story too but without the superlong cut scenes. For me, playing Halo 3 was like watching the last half of Return Of The King, not haven't seen the prior 8 hours.

Gray haired Snake was the first thing I noticed. I was like "do you actually play as that old fucker?" Can you imagine the next mario game being Mario in his 60's with a grey moustache and everything?

So about the cutscenes, do they total 90 minutes long or is there one in particular that is 90 minutes long? If its the latter, that's fucking ridiculous!

I've never played an MGS, but after a night of no sleep, I watched all the G4 segments on MGS4 and this (along with Uncharted) looks like it might sell the PS3 for me.
