Dream Theater -- Washington, DC -- May 26th, 2008

My third Progressive Nation show. I missed Three due to traffic. The rest of the bands were all in top form. Opeth's Akerfeldt had some funny quotes as usual:
  • "A lot of people don't like the screaming vocals. I don't like them either, I just decided to make a career out of it."
  • "This next song is called..." and during the pause someone yelled "FREEBIRD!"
  • "This song, naturally, is about death." (introducing Heir Apparent)

Mediocre set. I like that The Ministry of Lost Souls and Take the Time have become standards in the prog nation set.
