Anything that gives me an excuse to procrastinate on this fucking paper I'm writing sounds good right about now. Any vinyl without a description in parentheses doesn't have anything particularly special about it, except that a few of those are pretty old. The three Classical ones came from my school's library; they gave away all their old vinyls. By the time I got there, there wasn't much left, but I found a few interesting ones (the Strauss, Orff, and "Anthologie Sonore" disks).

Agalloch - The Mantle (grey double-LP, limited to 500 copies)
Agalloch - Split with Nest (10" picture disk, ltd. to 1000)
Agalloch - Ashes Against the Grain (clear orange double-LP, album ltd. to 1000, this particular color ltd. to 300)
Alcest - Souvenirs d'un autre monde ("snow" white LP, album ltd. 999, this color ltd. 333, hand-numbered copy 248/333)
Angel Witch - Angel Witch
L'Anthologie Sonore, Volume III: Instrumental Music of the 16th, 17th, and 18th Centuries (just one part of a larger anthology)
Bathory - Bathory (clear LP)
Bathory - The Return....
Bathory - Under the Sign of the Black Mark (clear LP)
Bathory - Blood Fire Death
Bathory - Hammerheart (clear LP)
Bathory - Twilight of the Gods
Bathory - Octagon (heh, got this one for free from someone who didn't want it)
Bone Awl - Meaningless Leaning Mess
Celtic Frost - Morbid Tales
Earth - Extra-Capsular Extraction
Havohej - Tungkat Blood Wand (7", ltd. 213, hand-numbered copy 122/213)
Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden
Iskra - Iskra
Judas Priest - Stained Class
Judas Priest - Killing Machine (that's right, not Hell Bent for Leather)
Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East
Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengeance
King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King
Manowar - Manowar
Manowar - Sign of the Hammer
Mayhem - Deathcrush (red LP)
Misfits - Static Age
Misfits - Earth A.D./Wolfsblood
Morbid Angel - Altars of Madness (picture disk, ltd. 1500)
Municipal Waste - Waste 'Em All (clear LP)
Municipal Waste - Hazardous Mutation
Municipal Waste - The Art of Partying (clear green LP)
Napalm Death - Scum (picture disk, ltd. 1500)
Om - Pilgrimage (sky blue w/ white marble swirl LP)
Carl Orff - Catulli Carmina (Vienna Chamber Choir, conducted by Heinrich Hollreiser)
Repulsion - Horrified (double-LP w/ bonus tracks etc.)
Ride for Revenge - The King of Snakes
Saxon - Wheels of Steel
Siege - Drop Dead
Richard Strauss - Also Sprach Zarathustra (Berlin Philharmonic, conducted by Karl Böhm)
Sword - Metalized
Toxic Holocaust - Evil Never Dies
Uriah Heep - Demons & Wizards
Zemial - In Monumentum

Damn. How long have you been 'collecting', Brady? And where do you do most of your shopping?

I went to a flea market yesterday, where I got my last batch at, and they had a ton of good old stuff. They had Sign of the Hammer Dutch import for 8 bucks, Stryper Soldiers Under Command on white vinyl for 18. I would go back and snag a bunch of their stuff, but its 45 minutes away. There is a record store/headshop about 20 minutes away, where I got the WITTR and Ceremonial Oath. They have alot of Nachtmystium, Bolt Thrower, Anal Cunt, and Kreator that I want to snag, as well as alot of obscure shit.

When I go to Germany and Austria this summer, I hope to find some awesome stuff.

Sodom - M16 (LTD 500 copies)
Therion - Lemuria & Sirius B (LTD 500 copies)
Therion - Gothic Kabbalah (LTD 1000 copies)

those were like 200 bucks right there so i cant afford to buy rare shit like that too often, but im going to focus on collecting ones like that over the regular albums.

but i also have
Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengence (still has shrink wrap on it and has the merch order card inside it )
Iron Maiden - Piece of Mind (skips on one track )

i also noticed my turntable plays at just a hair faster than normal, which makes some songs sound fucking awesome (electric eye)

edit: you should check out these guys, http://www.nightofthevinyldead.com/dueindex.htm basically a bunch of metalheads who decided to print never released vinyls, they do a really good job with some of them

Neither do I. I have to use my aunts until I go to college, at which point I will buy one.

Got some Sabbath, Bowie, and Stones albums I got for $0.25 each during a library sale; a few classical albums from the same sale; a bunch of Time-Life "The Story of Great Music" box sets of classical stuff I got at a garage sale for $1 each; a bunch of what you'd call "classic rock" that I swiped from my folks when I moved out all those years ago, including some CCR, Mamas and Papas, Jefferson Airplane, etc.; a Buddy Holly collection; a ragtime collection; and the stuff left over from when I was a kid: Bark at the Moon; Asylum by Kiss; Pyromania; Good Bye Yellow Brick Road; a mess of 45s, from J. Giels to Whodini to Jawbox...
So well informed I don't know where the truth begins.
