Napalm Death -- Kansas City, MO -- April 12th, 2008
The first band up was called Straight Line Stitch. They sound kind of like a harder version of In This Moment at times. The girl has a good death metal voice, but that's about it. Mediocre.
5/10 Invitro was next. These dudes are crazy. I'm not really sure what to classify them as. Some of their songs reminded me of crossover, but then they also sounded like nu-metal in some songs. Whatever they are, they sure are entertaining. 7/10 Oh great. 36 Crazyfists. This band is terrible. They sound like the shitty Myspace metalcore bands for 50 percent of a song, then have a shitty emo vocalist the next. They look like fat Mastodon members, too. 2/10 Napalm Death should be headlining, but sadly, they aren't. With the time they had, they destroyed the fucking place. Sink Fast, Let Go Unchallenged Hate Suffer the Children Silence is Deafening Fatalist Continuing War on Stupidity Breed to Breathe The Code is Red...Long Live the Code When All is Said and Done Greed Killing Scum Life The Kill Deceiver You Suffer Nazi Punks Fuck Off Awesome. 9/10 I didn't stay for DevilDriver. PS: I totally told Barney and Shane "Killer show, come back soon!" after the show outside their bus and they said "Thanks."

Saw this tour a while back. Showed up late as we only cared to see Napalm Death. Suffered through some of 36 Crazyshits since we didn't time it quite right. Napalm freakin' destroyed for their set. Took off right after Napalm. As far as I know DevilDriver sounded like Dismember, cuz that's what I was listening to in my car on the ride home.

Napalm played the same songs when I seen them up in Worchester, MA. They were awesome but for some reason not many people were into them.

Look at the band's they are playing with. Although Napalm Death is the best on the tour that doesn't mean they will mesh well with the rest of the band's on the tour.

I don't understand why they even agree to a tour bill like that. They should play with some other grindcore bands. Cephalic would be cool to see with them. The best show that I saw with Napalm was when they opened for Obituary a few years ago. That was also the best Obituary show too.
