It sounds bad. He's barely getting out the notes. Don't get me wrong, I love Bruce, but this is way beyond him at this point. I'm sure I won't mind as much when I'm there live, since vocals always seem to sound 100x better when you're there. But a recording of this wouldn't be wise.

Bruce's age isn't really the problem. It's the initial source but not the sole problem. Most other singers actually pick up on the fact that they're voice is starting to go (or at least decrease in range) and adjust their vocal lines accordingly. Bruce makes no such attempt, live or in the studio.

To be fair to Bruce, Steve writes all the vocal melodies.
