Oh well, its a unique multiplayer so I'd suggest your check it out, but your choice.

Multiplayer is basically the only reason I find video games interesting anymore.

really? that thing was pathetic, killed it first try. go up the stairs and there's a ledge you can stand on to the right, kill the dogs, and then plunge attack the demon, run up stairs, repeat, or if you have pyromancy, fireball it as well.

Thats the problem. I can never get to the stairs because the dogs block the way.

EDIT: Nevermind, just beat him. Turns out all i had to do was roll to the right to lure the dogs and dodge his attack, THEN go up the stairs.

there's an area later in the game that has respawing capra demons as regular enemies.

Once you get rid of the dogs he's not so bad actually.
