Yea, ignore that. The first time I played Link To The Past on virtual console I did it with a gamecube controller. Although, technically, I believe you can use the y button as the c left, the x button as the c right, and one of the z buttons as c down.

Interesting. Now all I need to do is buy a Gamecube controller from Ebay. And that is how the Classic works, but it's really akward, and the B button being where the A usually is feels really weird, and I end up rolling/slashing when I don't want to.

I meant you could use the x and y for the classic controller too.

Random thoughts on the subject of controllers:
The Gamecube controller might be my favorite controller for overall use. Sure, other controllers work better, but that's because the setup varies in awesomeness from game-to-game, but the comfort of a gamecube controller is just the best overall. PS2 controllers are pretty similarly great but a little less comfortable. The original Xbox controller was pretty awful, I thought, but the 360 ones are pretty fun now, if a little less intuitive than their competitors. Also, the wii controls have got to be the least consistent controls of all time. Some games I've played on that are incredibly awkward to work with (most multiplatform games), and others handle incredibly smoothly and comfortably (Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, a few others) - I love that you don't have to have your hands held together like you do for every other controller.

edit: I don't like the classic controller much at all, if it wasn't apparent in the rest of this post. Gamecube is superior in almost every way

I'll have to figure out how to work that around then. I agree though, the GC controller is pretty great, although the 360 one is pretty damn great as well, can't really find much to complain about it.
