Well, considering I love Guitar Hero and am getting GHIII for Christmas and I don't like Rock Band, this fails to affect me.

You would have to buy another bundle just for the guitar. Eventually, both GH and RB will have extra guitars to sell, sometime in 2008. It's telling to me that Harmonix is willing support third parties as it applies to controllers. Activision is going for lock-in. Interoperability is good for the gamer; unfortunately, Activision is sacrificing our interests in a petty attempt to screw a competitor. It's very short sighted. Not only might they sell more hardware, they would be generating excitement for games of both systems and the genre on the whole. Everybody wins.

Instead, Activision is being corporate dick and that violates The Law.

Yeah activision pretty much sucks.

They also put 10 zillion more ads and product placement type things in GH3.

my friends rock band guitar was a bit inaccurate so they sent him a new one to replace it. hes supposed to return the old one, but until he does we have 2 guitars to play with.

Screw you Ed, we can do whatever we want. We just merged with Blizzard Entertainment to form the super-mega-ultra corporation: Activision Blizzard. Now, with our powers combined, we can see to it that you the only guitars you'll be using will cost more than your car.

Also, the new Activision Blizzard doesn't believe in coupons, rebates, or customer satisfaction.
