The Official Guitar Hero III Thread

So I just went down to Hecho's favorite store on the planet and picked up Guitar Hero III for PS3.... had a hell of a time getting it too... online said it was in stock... there wasn't even a sticker out for it near the PS3... turned out that it was in an overstock in the back... no wonder Walmart has them and Best Buy is sold out.

My buddy and I picked it up on midnight Saturday night. We got to the last tier in co-op in about and hour and a half (on expert). All we have left to do is One and then the encore. The solo in One is fucking rediculous.

This feels like a very different game. There is some minor evolution in the interface but the game just feels different... very much unlike GH1 to GH2 or to 80's Encore.

a friend of mine picked it up the other day. I'm heading over there soon to check out Raining Blood.

I can imagine why they wouldn't though. So fast and so many notes. Someone would probably break off the picking button.

Raining Blood is fucking rediculous (at least it is on expert, that's all we play).
