Most of you have read plenty about this tour, so I'll keep it brief.

This show was one of the best that I have attended. I was simply blown away. I have been attending concerts for 20+ years and this easily made my top five list. The set list was very similar to the others, with the only difference being that we had 316 added to our set.

You should have made the trip! Head up to Chicago on Tuesday or Thursday. It is well worth the drive and expense.

316 is an instrumental (guitar only) song off For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. Though it is a Hagar era song, it is just Eddie playing on his clean channel.

So how did Roth sound? Are Anthony's backing vocals missed? Is the fat kid good at bass?

Roth sounded great! The whole show sounded great!

I couldn't tell for sure, but it sounded like Anthony's backing vocals were played in the background. Again, I'm not 100% on that. It's that, or Eddie's vocals were higher pitched than I'm used to hearing from him.

The "fat kid" doesn't belong there. I totally missed seeing Michael Anthony. Wolfgang is too young for this and does not have any charisma. He's Eddie's son, so it would appear that Michael Anthony's days with Van Halen are over. That sucks!

Well, the reasons I didn't go was when I went to go buy the tickets, the only ones that were left were the $150, which my friends (who also have my only method of tranaportation) didn't want to pay.

Chicago... I might, if someone wouldn't mind stopping by Bloomington.

Next time, try Ebay or street scalpers. I've seen some of my best shows at half price thanks to Ebay and scalpers. If it's a large show, like this one was, you are almost guaranteed to find a deal.

I don't understand scalpers. How are they making money by buying a ticket at full price and then selling it for half price?
