I have a really good feeling about this album. Majestic was a slight dissapointment and I have a feeling this will be a return to the classic Gamma Ray of the mid-to-late 90s. Kai posted an update video a little while back and it contained a bit of that Insurrection track in the backround and it sounded really really good.

Was "Land of the Free" a concept album or something? Cos if it wasn't, this sequel idea is more pathetic than FDR's legs.

If it's anything like the last two albums it will be amazing.

Land of the Free is the ultimate in "loose" concept albums, which really bother me. Those kind of concept albums where apprently there is supposed to be some kind of story happening, but unless the band provides more or less a novel, you have no idea what's going on, or even whether or not there are even any characters involved.

That tracklist on Blabbermouth has an obvious error

RISING AGAIN 0:28
TO MOTHER EARTH 5:09
EMPRESS 6:22
RAIN 5:20
INTO THE STORM 3:45
WHEN THE WORLD 5:43
FROM THE ASHES 5:30
LEAVING HELL 4:20
REAL WORLD 5:44
HEAR ME CALLING 6:45
OPPORTUNITY 7:15
INSURRECTION 11:30

And the order isn't necessarily finalized either. But yeah, there was a video of Kai skiing and giving a studio update. The video had about a 30 second clip of the song Insurrection. Obviously I can't wait for this release.

They've signed with SPV for this album, so I should have it very soon. I've got Helloween's, but not listened to it yet. I'll let y'all know how they turn out.

That statement sounds pretty funny when you think about it. I still think that it's a very strange coincidence how the release date is 2 days after your birthday.
