Instrumentals are a difficult issue for me. It's got to be a real specific compromise, because I feel a lot of instrumentals, even ones I included on my list, fit it into one of two catagories:

1.Either it's very boring and bland and I never really feel the need to listen to it.
or:
2.If the music is actually really good, usually I'll wish it was an actual song with vocals and lyrics, which will take me out of it.

Interesting! There are many songs I wish were instrumentals where I feel the vocals ruin them. As you can probably guess, I really like instrumentals.

Yeah same, I feel the opposite of Jeff; don't ruin great music with annoying vocals.
