Hartford Ozzfest Review: OZZY Should Retire; LORDI should headline over STATIC-X

Source: Thomas Pizzola At The Hartford Courant

This guy is calling on Ozzy to retire but even further and takes a swipe at his band: His performance was downright painful to watch. His voice was weak, he looked puffy and out of shape and his ace band of backing musicians - which included guitar hero Zakk Wylde, ex-Faith No More drummer Mike Bordin and ex-Rob Zombie bassist Blasko - came off more like an Ozzy tribute band.

That's total crap.

However, Pizzola has written a lot of other interesting, some of which I brought in my review -- like Lordi's dominating set and Static-X's relatively. Behemoth fans will love the blow job he give them, calling the band the highlight of the second stage: "The undeniable king of the second stage was Behemoth, which put on a brutal show full of furious guitar riffs, jaw-dropping technique and slamming blast beat."

Anyway, it's a good article, something for everyone to love and hate.
