Now, I'm thinking of a 3+ hour long Epica setlist, with a full orchestra and choir. I added up the time, and it adds to roughly 3 hours, 22 minutes. A long setlist? Yeah. But, it'd be a true dream...and would make for perhaps a great DVD...(I could have knocked off an hour of this, but part of my dream Epica set is the entire "The Embrace That Smothers" concept in full)
Epica: 1. Indigo (Prologue) 2. The Obsessive Devotion 3. Sensorium 4. Menace of Vanity 5. Solitary Ground 6. Never Enough 7. Feint 8. Trois Vierges (w/ Roy Khan) 9. Quietus 10. Run For A Fall 11. Chasing the Dragon 12. The Divine Conspiracy 13. The Phantom Agony --Encore One-- 14. Hunab K'u - A New Age Dawns, Prologue 15. The Last Crusade - A New Age Dawns, Part I 16. Mother Of Light - A New Age Dawns, Part II 17. Consign To Oblivion - A New Age Dawns, Part III --Encore Two-- 18. Mea Culpa - The Embrace That Smothers, Prologue 19. Leaden Legacy - The Embrace That Smothers, Part I (w/ Floor Jansen) 20. Follow In The Cry - The Embrace That Smothers, Part II (w/ Floor Jansen) 21. Yield To Temptation - The Embrace That Smothers, Part III (w/ Floor Jansen) 22. Adyta - The Neverending Embrace 23. Cry For The Moon - The Embrace That Smothers, Part IV 24. Facade Of Reality - The Embrace That Smothers, Part V 25. Seif Al Din - The Embrace That Smothers, Part VI 26. La'petach Chatat Rovetz - The Final Embrace 27. Death Of A Dream - The Embrace That Smothers, Part VII (w/ Sander Gommans) 28. Living A Lie - The Embrace That Smothers, Part VIII 29. Fools Of Damnation - The Embrace That Smothers, Part IX Hey, the thread never said we had to be realistic. |

These kinds of song titles scare me away from ever giving "music" like this the benefit of the doubt of being decent.

I really like Pig Destroyer lyrics. Honestly, I don't think the titles do them much justice, they tend to be pretty deep.

Either you're being very honest or giving me some very intense sarcasm.

Here are the lyrics to Alexandria, for example:"Strange tension in the harbor tonight I watch the rich girls down on Duke St. pass me by Now the nausea's In my guts And I'm wrestling with doubt The kind you get when your heroes Sell you out And as I watch the drawbridge come down There's mass extinction on my mind Human cruelty stains my thoughts jet black I've got this feeling Like things have gone too far and now we can't get back" Very Holden Caulfield, methinks.
