Kamelot/Epica
Children of Bodom/Gojira/Sanctity
Symphony X/Sanctity/Echoes of Eternity
Dream Theater/Redemption/Into Eternity
Overkill/Epica
Behemoth/Gojira/Beneath the Massacre (didn't bother staying for JFAC)

Thinking about Vader/Malevolent Creation/Friends, and probably going to do Exodus/Arsis/Goatwhore/Warbringer and Symphony X/Epica/Into Eternity.

It strikes me as very weird that you've gone to see those other acts headline but actually went through the trouble to go to ProgPower, being that the other stuff you go to see is basically completely different from the bands that play PP each year.

And liking different styles is wrong? I've seen most of those bands as well, and go to ProgPower in the UK every year.

Not AT ALL what I was getting at. The comment wasn't because I feel he shouldn't like both styles, but moreso because almost none of the actual normal concerts he's gone to see are of the style of ProgPower, and it seems weird to me that someone wouldn't go to see any power or prog metal shows in general yet make an expensive and long-distance excursion to see a whole lot of it.

Maybe by going to PP he feels he's seen those bands, so doesn't need to make the effort to see them on their own as well. Or maybe the bands he's gone to PP to see don't tour on their own?
