I don't think that just because of the random noises they're going downhill. Halfway decent? They are one of my favorite power metal bands. With fantastic albums such as New World Messiah, Shadowland, and Grand Illusion, they're much better than just halfway decent in my opinion. Lets hope the noises are only on that track. They're not a stranger to experimenting with stuff like that, and I never really minded it before, but it just doesn't fit right in that song.

Either way, the song is fucking excellent, but it could go without the random techno beat the couple times it appears.

I agree that Shadowland and Grand Illusion are better than half way decent!!! For some reason this band just never really knocked my socks off or anything.
