I don't think it was awful. My only complaint about it was they put in "Heavy metal breakdowns" in the battle scenes, which was so incredibly cheesy.

It was cheesy as hell, but wasn't that the point? I liked it for what it was.

i loved it. It served its purpose which was to be basically i guy's battle movie . . . i wasnt expecting any brilliant plot or acting, just some kickass fight scenes, which is exactly what i got. I went with a bunch of friends and everybody loved it. My grandparents saw it on opening night and loved it.

even my mom loved it.
