Cool. I don't know much about that history. In terms of the movie though, doesn't it seem like they've reduced the local tribes to background props in the drama about one white guy battling other white guys?

Yeah. I think that the resistance the Vikings met in the New World was one of the reasons they didnt stay for very long, that and the fact that they didnt bring hardly any women with them.
