I'm still convinced that hadn't John been shot, they would've reunited, at least during Lennon's planned Double Fantasy tour.

Weren't there already plans for them to come on stage during the encore at Madison Square Garden or something?

Who knows, so sad. The Beatles aren't my favorite band but I can recognize that they were the best band ever.

I do prefer their later work, say starting with Rubber Soul.
