You can debate the music all day long.....

But, for me, the very best decade to attend concerts was the 70's.

The Vibe was just better than.... the 80's or the 90's.

Now I'm not saying anything to diss the 80's or the 90's....

But.... the 70's concerts just had a groove and a vibe.... in that time and spce, that is is still special, to think of, today.

I wouldn't trade those 70's concerts experiences for the 80's or the 90's....

And that's .... the way it tis.

90's was motherfucking horrendous for popular music.

80's. Hands-down.

I agree with you. The 90s did have some great death and black metal, but overall the 80s was better.

The 80s and not just for the metal. Even the pop and rap tunes were cool back then.

The 80's were great, but I gotta go with the 90's because that's when power and progressive metal started to come on the scene.

Hmmmmm

Pantera? (major label albums)
Tool?
early Deftones?
"Rust In Peace"?
All of which were "popular" and came out in the 90's.

Were you even born in the 80's?
