When I was a kid I used to love reading Ray Bradbury short stories.
All Summer In A Day is still one of the saddest, most heartbreaking, and most haunting stories I've ever read.

I'm reading Uncle Tom's Cabin for a class. Trying, anyway. Dear God, could it be any worse? If you just want to make points about a social issue and you're not a novelist, DON'T WRITE A FUCKING NOVEL! JUST WRITE A NONFICTION BOOK! I'm not bothered by the message one bit; I'm bothered by the evils being done to the English language on every page. I don't honestly know if I can read this book all the way through. 400+ pages and I've hated all 50 I've read so far.

Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.
Not sure how I feel about it.. it tends to drag sometimes. Though I'm only about half way through, so I shouldn't judge it too much. |

The characters are so well written it's insane. Probably the greatest characterization I've read in any fantasy or sci-fi book, let alone any book. Believe me, this is FAR from any "fantasy" I've ever read, if you can even all it that. You're missing out on a fantastic story If you haven't read them. |
