It is a great book. And I am one of those guys who believes that the state America is in today is exactly like the world spoken of in Nineteen Eighty-Four.. Also I have never read Catcher In The Rye.

I'm about 10 pages from finishing Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert. I'm going to hold off on the other books in the series til I have more time to pick up a 400-500 page book.

I couldn't find any Lovecraft at OSU's library, but I got an illustrated (short) version of The Food of the Gods by H.G. Wells and The Stolen Bacillus & Other Incidents, a collection of short stories by H.G. Wells.

On top of all of my reading for classes, of course.

Kind of sad to not find any Lovecraft in a library . But there's such a high amount of great literature out there that anything you can't read doesn't leave you without something of equal awesomeness to read in its place. i love books

...but I hate reading for classes. even good books. It takes the fun out of it for me.
