Just finished 'Knots & Crosses' by Ian Rankin.

Now reading 'London Calling' by James Craig. I don't sense it's going to be very good. The writing is very childish. Describe minute details not because they're relevant or interesting, but because he seems to feel like he has to.

What can I say, I'm a huge FC Barcelona fan (and member).

BTW, favorite novel by King is Christine. The movie sucks big time though.

Personally, I'd go with 'Salem's Lot. Great book, shitty movie.

I recently started Brian Lumley's "Demogorgon"... again. Tried reading this damn book 4 or 5 times throughout high school, never got past the first few chapters.

I think it's just the fact that this book can't possibly be as good as his "Necroscope" saga...

Many of the films based on his work are shitty lol.

I've never seen him as a pure horror writer and his descriptions of the characters are absolutely great.

Finally started the Song of Fire and Ice series; just finished A Clash of Kings (I skipped the first one since the first season of the show followed it so closely).

His descriptions of characters are absolutely great, although quite often it seems that he's describing himself. Ever notice that half of his main characters are writers?
