Well, I think I'm right on the former, that they play true heavy metal but with healthy doses of prog, but the latter was a dumb statement, because there's actually a shit ton of bands who play real metal.

However, they're really the future of metal because they have the weight to throw around; they have the tenure to really fly the flag in the years to come. Priest and Maiden didn't need help from Cirith Ungol or Angel Witch to get metal out there.

I know, but you cant deny the fact that you find a band you like, get their whole discography, claim their awesomeness, then have a revelation that they are not as good as some other band.
