i dont know what people see in that show. 20 episodes of bullshit just to get to a fight scene. if you want to watch something with action atleast pick something good like black lagoon or gantz.

it is rather drawn out, but i got hooked. the character development is pretty good. from what i gather, the english dubbed voices sound a lot like the japanese originals. despite the blood and violence, i also like that it has some positive messages: protect that which is precious to you, follow your dream, the power of friendship.

other anime that has caught my eye: Ghost in the Machine, Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha (which was inadvertent).

When it was on, i was riveted to Teen Titans, partially b/c i read the comic in the 80's. perhaps not necessarily true anime, but it was pretty good while it lasted.

next on my list is Batman: The Brave and the Bold. which isn't anime, but this next incarnation looks a little more promising than the last one, The Batman, with the retooled futuristic villians.

And as to my original list of my "stories", L&O: Criminal Intent isn't until 2009 sometime and i thought it was this month.
