I'm gonna bring so much cash to this show, haha... I'm gonna get a shirt from both bands, and a MW zip hoodie if they have them at the venue (if not I'll just get it from their site). The tickets were only $12 total... hooray for DIY venues!!

I bought my Heaven and Hell ticket this morning... $90

Then this evening, I submitted to FYE's consumer whore membership ploy and went shopping (they give members 20% off whatever you buy on your birthday)... I've kinda thinned out the selection of metal albums I would buy from them (and it seems like they're no longer carrying a bunch that they used to and that I would buy ), so I picked up a couple essential punk albums to bolster my collection. I got..

Black Flag - Damaged
Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables
Sex Pistols - Nevermind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols
Children of Bodom - Follow the Reaper (yes, I bought this... surprised? )
Unleashed - Midvinterblot (so good, if I had heard it earlier it might've gotten on my 2006 top ten)

5 albums for $50, not bad.

and, a Dead Kennedys shirt. Watch out, I might just go punk rock on you guys

I tried to find Fresh Fruit at Best Buy but the sons of bitches didn't have it.

As for Bodom, Boris gave that album a 60% with a "it's more coherent," so life ain't that bad. I bought HateCrew a while ago but I didn't bring it with me to Indiana. I figured I had enough new music to absorb, right? Wrong.

Led Zeppelin: II
Van Halen: Van Halen
