First of all, I don't understand how somebody who likes Megadeth, Slayer, Judas Priest, and bits of Overkill, can find Motorhead "too fast for its own good." I mean, grant it Motorhead, tends to write (and play) at the same speed sometimes, but fuck! There are great moments of melody and brutality all over the place.

Besides if you want not-so-fast Motorhead songs, there is always my all time fave Motorhead song: Orgasmatron.

I dunno, it's more the sloppy thing than the too fast thing, though I don't think they're cut out for speed. Also, Lemmy's voice is grating. I'm not saying you can't like them, I'm definitely the minority in the metal community for not liking them. I just can't force myself to think Motorhead are any good.

Well for starters, Cowboys From Hell and Vulgar Display don't have that godawful grating vocal style of Phil's.

I think its just me flat out hating Phil Anselmo. I have never liked him. Fuck, I probably never would have gotten into Pantera if they hadn't played Primal Concrete Sledge at Ozzfest.
