AFM (Masterplan's label) don't do U.S distribution, so it's almost assured not to receive domestic retail. Independent record stores don't follow the whole Tuesday release thing, they get shipments in whenever.
Looking at the record label is critical in discerning whether or not an album will be released widespread in the U.S or not. Some bands (mostly small overseas ones) have a deal specifically with a record company to issue their albums in the United States, whereas another label will handle the European distribution.
