1349 To Headline US Tour w/ Goatwhore

Source: The Gauntlet

1349 is another one of those black metal bands that caught my attention because of its name. A couple of months, the band played support on some dates for Celtic Frost's recent tour of North America.

Goatwhore will be providing support, relentlessly touring for their latest album. I've probably had access to a dozen Goatwhore concerts in California alone across several different treks, some headlining, others supporting. The goats are differently whoring for A Haunted Cure.

Other bands on the bill: Nachtmystium and Averse Sefira.

March 28 - The Muse, Nashville TN
March 29 - Jaxx, West Springfield VA
March 30 - The Loft, Poughkeepsie NY
March 31 - Mark's Place, Bedford NH
April 01 - BB King Blues Club, New York NY
April 02 - L'Anti, Quebec City QC
April 03 - FouFounes, Montreal QC
April 04 - Petit Theater du Vieux Noranda, Royun Noranda QC
April 06 - Opera House, Toronton ON
April 09 - Station 4, St. Paul MN
April 13 - Knitting Factory, Hollywood CA
April 14 - Showcase Theater, Corona CA

More to dates to be announced.

FUCK. YES. NACHTMYSTIUM.

I bet 1349 and Goatwhore are good live too even though I'm not big on their music. 'A Haunting Curse' is too generic for my tastes. I haven't heard any 1349 albums, but they're definitely more br00tal.

If I liked black metal, I think this tour would be my holy grail.

Of active bands? Immortal, Emperor, Darkthrone, Mayhem, etc...very unlikely that they should tour again.

An Immortal + Emperor show is really not far out of the question.
