Agalloch --- Copenhagen, Denmark --- November 20th, 2006
Last night I saw Agalloch as support for Novembers Doom, with Saturnus and Thurisaz as well, at Loppen in Copenhagen. For a support band they sure played a long set, between 50 and 60 minutes. It was definitely an ethereal set, with the room appropriately smelling of burnt timber.
1. Falling Snow 2. Limbs 3. Odal 4. In the Shadow of Our Pale Companion 5. Of Stone, Wind, and Pillor 6. Our Fortress is Burning . . . II : Bloodbirds |

that's awesome. I hope they're still in Europe when I'm over there.

Fuck yes, thanks
This is a band I definitely gotta see. Last time they were here though it was a 21+ over place........and they even had Yakuza with them!

Unfortunately they don't tour much. I'm from Mass. and last time they came by there was 2004 and I missed them. I sure hope they tour the US when I come back next month

I like Agalloch but this set has none of my favorite songs by them.

It was an amazing show. Seeing Agalloch play anything from their catalogue is just ethereal. Best way to describe it. And I was surprised by how excited the Copenhagen crowd was for a band from Oregon that barely ever tours.
