Well, I listened to metal and hair metal in the 80's and there was a definite line of separation for the most part. I mean, nobody confused Maiden, Priest or Metallica with Ratt or Bon Jovi.

I glad you mentioned that. I got into metal through Whitesnake and I use 'metal' loosely there... Whitesnake was more of a gateway band. Maiden was the one band that got me into real metal. Metallica was definitely metal. Anthrax and Megadeth too. In fact,that was my metal universe the first couple of years.

No, I wouldn't.

But I would go see them in concert next year if the DLR rumors are true.
