Manticora - The Black Circus Part 1 - Letters
I just picked up this album and I don't really know what to think after giving it a few listens. I'll post a review probably tommorow with a break down of every track. But here's the low-down. The album is a concept album about a guy who joins a traveling circus of gypsies in the late 19th century and writes letters to his friend about the strange and sinister occurences he experiences in the circus. Each song is a letter from the main character to his friend, which is a pretty cool concept I think. Anyways, I'll post the review tommorow but for now, does anyone on here like Manticora or have this album?

They are one of my favorite bands. My favorite album from them is Hyperion but they really have no bad album. Highly recommended!!

This album musically reminds me a lot of Blind Guardian, but it's definitely more progressive when it isn't just the straight ahead power metal stuff going. I like it so far

EDIT: Did they just pull an Edguy on 'Forever Carousel' !?
